Players must search through the world to find feral Digimon to attack while also maintaining a strong defense against attack. There are many creature types, including dark, spirit, beast, dragon and others, each one with its own advantages. Monsters who are resting or otherwise not engaged in battle relax in the central city, playing and working with other tamed monsters. As they do so, the monster grows and needs food, exercise, rest, and waste disposal to grow up optimally. Collect, train, and battle with more than 400 creatures from eight different species.In “Digimon World,” players raise a single character at a time, putting all of their training and resources into that monster. Best of all, players can trade with friends that own Digimon World to gain unique items and monsters. Players can recruit wild Digimon or raise their own from Digi-eggs to progress through the game, defeating enemies and bosses.
To do this, the player becomes a Digimon Tamer, making friends with the Digimon they encounter in the game.
